Erin Way
Actor
Erin Way joins the cast of SyFy's hit series ALPHAS for
its second season as “Kat,” a
mysterious new girl with a tough edge and a sly, cutting
sense of humor.  Way became familiar to television
audiences as the offbeat “Wendy Chapin-
Lowmeister” on the ABC police drama DETROIT 187. Her
previous television credits include HAWAII FIVE-0,
PRIVATE PRACTICE and GIRLFRIENDS.
In film, Way has worked with acclaimed directors such as
Joe Dante, Bryce Dallas-Howard, Ron Howard and Mark
Ruffalo. And this summer, she will be seen in the features
THE COLLECTION  opposite Christopher McDonald,
NOT THAT FUNNY (with Tony Hale) and DONNBY
(starring John Schneider).

Raised in San Francisco as the second of five children,
Way grew up dreaming of becoming a professional
ballerina. However, a sudden move to Oregon and being
cast in her very first play changed those plans. She quickly
threw herself into theater and never looked back.  She
studied Shakespeare and theater at Portland State
University and took vocal training in Vancouver. In Los
Angeles, she has continued her study with Steppenwolf
Theater West and in the Joan Scheckel labs, working with
actors such as Marisa Tomei, Jason Ritter and Miranda
July and directors Catherine Hardwicke, Mike Mills and
Jake Scott.
In the advertising world, Way has been in multiple national
ad campaigns for such companies as 7-Up, WalMart,
Buick, Wendy's, AT&T and Milk.

She resides in Los Angeles…in a perpetual state of trying
to find a hobby outside of acting.
